A Creative Professional driven by innovative design, but grounded by practicality. I exude talents in Graphic Design, Photographic Language, and Brand Execution, yet I still remain deadline and budget oriented. Mario Emerson Stewart Foresta

I majored in Fine Art and Art History at the University of California at Santa Barbara.  After interning for a screen-printing house, learning the ins-and-outs of plastisol, I landed a job as Production Artist at New Era Cap Company.  13+ years later, I sit as the Senior Design Manager for the West Coast, out of Irvine, California.

I balanced my day job with personal creative work, mainly centered around 35mm photography, and digital painting explorations.   I like photographing my own assets for personal or freelance design projects, and I find the film provides a different spectrum and color array that you don't see in photographic / advertising work today.

I believe, that through great design there is a solution to any challenge that arises.  My creative approach is to fully understand what is being asked and by whom, and use that in-depth knowledge as a springboard for intuitive and innovative ideas that lead to amazing design.

If you have any questions...I would love to chat!

Adobe CS Suite – Of course, I can also pick up a paint brush to finish a piece for an art show, or load film into my medium format Hasselblad for a look-book shoot. I can design packaging, I surf, I skate, I’m a musician, I’m a father. These are all influences I use to solve creative challenges with great design, and use those solutions to create Brand-Building, revenue growing Experiences.
